Pebbles
Collected some pretty rocks at the beach.

day 230: Burn, Baby, Burn

Burn, Baby, Burn
Ahhhh, escape from the city. Camping adventure weekend in Connecticut. Staying cozy by the fire.

day 229: After These Messages

After These Messages
Trapped in TV Land. Is it the weekend yet?

day 228: Caffeinate

Caffeinate
My new favorite caffeinated beverage.

day 227: Midday Brew

Midday Brew
One of the benefits of starting work at the ass-crack of dawn: you can start drinking by early afternoon.

day 226: Morning Light

Morning Light
A step up: leaving for work in daylight.

day 225: Water Damage

Water Damage
Unfortunately, the only picture I took on this day was of the water dripping through the ceiling of my bathroom, and the weird mold growing around it. Welcome home...

day 224: Dinner with the Fishes

Dinner with the Fishes
Lovely BYOB dinner at Sea Grass in Ocean Grove. Fish tanks in seafood restaurants feel a little weird to me... but they are certainly pretty.

day 223: Brown Bag

Brown Bag
Brown-bagging it at Penn Station, Jersey Shore bound. Dear lord, happy Friday.

day 222: Vertical

Vertical
Post-work nap in Madison Square Park, trying to recharge for yoga. The view from the grass.

day 221: Tazo

Tazo
No way is this going to be enough caffeine to get me through this morning. We're going to have to step it up.

day 220: Crack of Dawn

Crack of Dawn
Time to wake up for work. I do not like this. I do not like this one bit.

day 219: Color Bars

Color Bars
Back in TV land. New gig. So long, carefree summer.

day 218: Dead Horse Bay

Dead Horse Bay
Took a day trip to an amazing little stretch of beach called Dead Horse Bay by the Rockaway Inlet in Brooklyn. The beach is filled with old glass bottles and random obscura from the 1950's, when the area was used as a landfill. We found some awesome sea glass and took home as many bottles as we could carry. Many decorating possibilities.

day 217: Self-Portrait in a Bottle

Self-Portrait in a Bottle
Went to Pier 96 at Hudson River Park for free kayaking, only to discover that free kayaking was mysteriously not happening that day. There was a cool sculpture of a bottle in the park, though, that you could look into through little windows. So, I took a picture through one of the windows.

day 216: Dinner?

Dinner?
I have no memory of this dinner, who it was with or where it was, though it looks delicious. Anyone?

(this is the problem with updating your pictures-of-the-day so infrequently...)

day 215: Chandelier

Chandelier
Supercool chandelier made out of wine glasses at a Thai restaurant in Chelsea. Pre-Chopped wrap party cocktail, in preparation for many more cocktails.

day 214: Bar Meeting

Bar Meeting
Production meeting at a bar in Greenpoint. Random bar art overhead.

day 213: Rock-Rock-Rock-Rockaway Beach

Rock-Rock-Rock-Rockaway Beach
Escape to Rockaway after many, many train transfers.

day 212: Fans

Fans
Crazy fans at Yoga for the People. I like them.

day 211: Day in the Park

Day in the Park
Fort Greene Park. Catching up on some reading.

day 210: Over Brooklyn

Over Brooklyn
Rooftop BBQ in Prospect Heights. Beautiful Brooklyn views. The last of the birthday celebrations.

day 209: We're Floating in Space

We're Floating in Space
Giant crowd-surfing bubbles containing Wayne Coyne and Rivers Cuomo at the Flaming Lips/Weezer concert at a very, very rainy Jones Beach. Excellent show, despite the monsoons.
