Cool sign outside of a random bar near Astor Place.

day 78: On a Downtown Train

On a Downtown Train
A blurry view of Greenwood Cemetery from the F train in Brooklyn.

day 77: Moonlight Sonata

Moonlight Sonata
Supposedly the moon hasn't been this close to the Earth in a super long time. And that's why it's so big. (It looked bigger in life, it's hard to take a picture of a moon with a standard zoom lens...)

day 76: Mac Family

Mac Family
Now the family is complete.

(I find this mildly disturbing... but at the same time, I am addicted to all of the synching. Steve Jobs, you have won.)

day 75: Crack(ed)Berry

Crack(ed)Berry
NOTE: If your blackberry stops functioning properly, the best way to fix it is NOT by slamming it against a counter top. Just FYI.

day 74: Au Revoir!

Au Revoir!
So long, lovely Westin! We learned a few things on this little trip to Montreal:

1. Everything is closed in Montreal in the winter on a Monday and a Tuesday.
2. Hiking in the snow in your stylish city boots is hard.
3. Glass-bottomed swimming pools are fun for some.
4. Maple-flavored whiskey may seem like a good idea at the time, but you will pay for it in the morning.
5. If you're determined to eat a poutine, you better get started early.
6. Don't speed.

day 73: Un Échec

Un Échec
French fail! We tried to go Montreal's contemporary art museum, only to find it was closing because a protest against police brutality was about to break out on that very street. We saw many riot police but no protesters. Apparently, 258 people were arrested.

day 72: Bonjour, Canada

Bonjour, Canada
Canadian steamship in the frozen water. Happy spring break.

Made it over the border in one piece!

day 71: Hightailin'

Hightailin'
Hightailed it on a train up the Hudson to get some time away from the city.

Tomorrow: Montreal.

Spring break, here we come.

day 70: Strange Brew

Strange Brew
Sampled a friend's home brew liquor creation at a dinner party last night... I am not sure I remember taking this picture.

Coming soon to a bar near you.

day 69: When You're Strange

When You're Strange
Kind of a strange mural of the last supper on the wall at Art Bar Friday night. Hello, Jim Morrison's nipples.

day 68: Rain, Rain, Go Away

Rain, Rain, Go Away
Raindrops on my window on a torrential Thursday evening.

day 67: The Fine Print

The Fine Print
Apparently it was a slow night for the cabbie. Rainy ride home Wednesday night.

day 66: Toast

Toast
This is where I decided to leave my phone. And then spent 15 minutes looking for my phone. It was that kind of day.

day 65: Just a Clown

Just a Clown
Had to do a prep exercise for my upcoming short film project... Just a Clown.

Is this considered suffering for your art?

day 64: Time, Time, Time

Time, Time, Time
Time, you will be the death of me! Ha, I guess that's literally true.

Time is not on my side this weekend. (Or ever...)

Yes, that's an iPad clock. I don't own a real clock. Maybe this is part of the problem.

day 63: Hear My Train A-Comin'

Hear My Train A-Comin'
Running around all day. Many trains, many trains.

day 62: Hello, Where is Cakeshop?

Hello, Where is Cakeshop?

Running through Grand Central today on an errand, caught this nice little photo op.

(Shot with iPhone)

day 60: Back in My Day

Back in My Day
It's extremely troubling to me that 1997 is now a noteworthy year for things to have come into existence.

day 59: I'm Bored with Lookin' Good

I'm Bored with Lookin' Good
The rockstar jacket makes a comeback.

Thank you, weather ;)

('cause I'm a punkrocker, yes I am...)

day 58: The Tao of the Dojo

The Tao of the Dojo
The Dojo. Home of the crack dressing and $5 entrees, which are infinitely better slathered in said dressing.

Spent the afternoon here doing some work and waiting for doc class. I may have OD'd.

day 57: Hail to the K-K-K-K-King

Hail to the K-K-K-K-King
I think our oscars party was more fun than watching the actual oscars. Props to The King's Speech, though. Geoffrey Rush deserved an award of his own, for sure.

(The title of this post, by the way, makes no reference to the KKK. Just to a stuttering Colin Firth...)

day 56: For Your Consideration

For Your Consideration
In preparation for a night of oscar-nominee cramming, I watched my own flicks just to keep up morale.

day 55: Sold On Merit

Sold on Merit
Happy Friday.
