Showtime at the Apollo

Went to see Stevie Wonder at the Apollo Spring Gala. Sinbad was the host, Tony Bennett made an appearance, and a bunch of artists sang tribute songs to Stevie Wonder before he came on. It was my first time actually inside the theater. Super awesome night!

Back in Black

New iPhone acquired. Pictures of the day resume in real time.

Going through old photos actually made me realize how ugly and crappy iPhone photos are. I should probably start taking out my DSLR more often.

Anyway, this is from the Black Joe Lewis show at Maxwell's. I am so in love with them. Great show.

Girl Talk Crowd

I took this at a Girl Talk show at the Virgin Freefest a couple of years ago. The show was one of the best I have ever been to. I love this photo because this is exactly what it felt like to be in that crowd. Everyone was going nuts.

I took this at Brooklyn Bowl waiting for a Talib Kweli show to start. I looked up and there was this weird skeleton thing hanging from the ceiling.

Day 2 of lost photos. This is from a shoot I did in Haines, Alaska for a Discovery Channel show. This mountain is actually called Devil's Elbow.

I lost my iPhone. And with it I lost 4 pictures of the day (which I guess is my punishment for not posting more regularly).

So.... instead I am posting some past favorites that I have taken before starting this blog. This one was from a trip to San Francisco 2 winters ago. We visited the ruins of the Sutra Bath House and it was really, really pretty.
